Appeal for Lalit Modi's passport to be revoked seems to have been stuck in a legal hurdle and India's chance to get back him back may take longer than expected and with bigger challenges. As the appeal period was time bound and after the 3 months long period ended the government will now be forced to file an application for condonation of delay. In which they would be expected to state the reason for delay and according to this the supreme court will decide on the considering the appeal.
