BCCI fighting Lalit Modi's return

It is clearly becoming a case of so-near-and-yet-so-far for Lalit Modi. In spite of the Board of Control for Cricket in India conceding 'defeat' in the Rajasthan Cricket Association elections in December last year, the former Indian Premier League chairman's return as RCA president is being fiercely contested by the Board's lawyers in the Supreme Court. Three hearings in the apex court have drawn a blank for Modi and his followers.
