NewsX: Preconditions delaying BSY's return to BJP

During his talks with State leaders recently, Yeddyurappa had laid down several pre-conditions for his return, from granting him the Leader of Opposition position in the legislature to giving party ticket to his son Raghavendra to contest from Shimoga Lok Sabha constituency in 2014 general elections, making former minister Shobha Karandlaji an MLC, appointing former Union minister Dananjaya Kumar and Lehar Singh office-bearers in BJP.
The party, while agreeing to install him as opposition leader and giving ticket to his son from Shimoga, rejected the rest of the conditions. "The party is not ready to accept the conditions of making Shobha MLC and making any of his followers including Dananjaya Kumar and Lehar Singh officer bearers at this juncture", a senior party leader told Deccan Herald.
