NewsX : Kamduni rape-murder case silenced, Mamta Banerjee 'buys' victim's family

After a lot of persuasion by the state government, family members of the Kamduni rape-murder victim met chief minister Mamata Banerjee at Writers' Buildings to put forward their demands.
Though the victim's family members did not speak to the media, sources at the state secretariat said that they demanded a speedy trial. The state government assured them all help including financial assistance and jobs to the victim's kin.
