The Jammu and Kashmir assembly which introduced a privilege motion against former army chief VK Singh for his controversial remarks will look to adopt the motion today. VK Singh had claimed that Kashmiri leaders were being paid off by the centre.

Its double trouble for former Army chief VK Singh. The general has had a bad day yesterday, after the J&K assembly moved a privilege motion against him .The Supreme Court added to the general's woes as contempt proceedings will be initiated against him in a separate case. Even though he watered down his remarks, it seems the general has bitten off far more than he can chew

The Supreme Court took suo-moto cognizance over the alleged contemptuous remarks that former Army Chief General VK Singh made against the apex court on September 22 in connection with his age row case
