While it's still not clear if the SC judgment recriminalising gay sex will be debated in the parliament government, is already contemplating an ordinance to reverse the apex court verdict.

Though the government's stand appears to have caught the opposition off-guard. The BJP is refusing o make ts view clear, in fact the party seems split with some opposing the SC verdict while others clearly favouring it.

The party has also demanded an all-party meeting to ascertain if there's political unanimity on reversing the supreme court verdict.
