JBT scam: Chautala pleads for prison comforts

The Chautalas' seem to be making a bid for hospital beds after being jailed in the Junior Basic Teacher scam after their conviction along with 55 others. Thousands of the father, son duo's supporters created a ruckus outside the Rohini Court in North Delhi, some even clambering on to a prison van, while Om Prakash and son Abhay Chautala pleaded for leniency from the court on health grounds. The court has instructed Tihar Central Jail's superintendent to accommodate the Chautalas' request for prison comforts like a european toilet for Chautala senior following the jail manual.
