Mumbai bans tobacco in BEST buses, fine Rs 600 - NewsX

Good news for the daily bus commuters in Mumbai. The BEST is banning tobacco, paan and gutkha chewing in the buses. Offenders will be asked to get off the bus or in extreme cases they will be handed over to the police who will prosecute them and also be fined up to 600 rupees. BEST has already started sensitising the commuters and staff.
