Trouble is clearly mounting for Law Minister Salman Khurshid and his trust. Now, the Comptroller and Auditor General has pointed out irregularities in the functioning of Law Minister Salman Khurshid's Trust. The development comes as a setback to Salman Khurshid and his wife who are the chief functionary officers of the Trust. Both of them have been vehemently denying any wrongdoing ever since a news channel alleged that the couple had siphoned off 71 lakh rupees that were meant for the benefit of physically challenged people in Uttar Pradesh. A sting operation revealed that Khurshid's Trust had forged signatures and stamps of senior officials of several districts in Uttar Pradesh depriving physically challenged people of their dues.
