Amid NewsX NPA Campaign, another fraud has come to light where the Videocon Group has come under the scanner of investigative agencies. Over the past few days, we've told you how painful the recovery process gets ..when after a bank gives a massive loan to a firm and then keeps scrambling to get the money back. This happened in the case of the Videocon Group. The group received Rs 3,250 crore loan from ICICI bank in 2012, but almost 86 % of that loan remains unpaid and the Videocon account was declared an NPA in 2017. ICICI Bank CMD Chanda Kochhar's husband got a contract from Videocon as a payoff, said reports.
