A Delhi court on Wednesday granted bail to Abhishek Verma and his wife on the grounds that the CBI has not yet filed a chargesheet in the case, according to reports. Verma and his wife were arrested on June 8, and their judicial custody ended on Wednesday. CBI on Wednesday registered a fresh case against arms dealer Abhishek Verma for allegedly writing a letter to the Prime Minister on a forged letterhead of then minister of state for home Ajay Maken seeking easing of business visa norms in 2009.
