The Prime Minister Office (PMO) on Monday sought a report in the incident of a class 5 student of West Bengal's Visva-Bharati university school being allegedly forced to drink her own urine as a punishment for bedwetting. The PMO has also sought action against the accused in the case. A 10-year-old girl was allegedly forced to lick her urine by her hostel warden. The girl alleges that the warden punished her for bedwetting and in a bizarre twist, the parents of the girl were arrested along with the warden for forcing their way into the hostel. They are now out on bail and the judge has observed the police may have been pressured by the Vishva Bharti authorities.
