CBI today conducted raids in Ranchi, Gurgaon and Kolkata in relation with Jharkhand Rajya Sabha polls. Yesterday the by election to Hatia Assembly seat in Jharkhand, scheduled for Tuesday, landed into a controversy after the police claimed to have seized cash from a campaign vehicle of the Congress. This comes less than three months after the Election Commission countermanded Rajya Sabha polls in the state following seizure of Rs 2.15 from the vehicle of an Independent candidate.
