Delhi Gangrape defence lawyer AP Singh's remark draws ire on Twitter

Nirbhaya rape case: India News: AP Singh, the defence lawyer in the Delhi gang-rape case, reportedly said on Friday that he would have burned his daughter were she to step out at night.
The 23-year-old paramedical student, who was gang-raped and murdered on December 16 was out with a male friend the night the crime was committed. All four accused were convicted on Tuesday and awarded the death penalty on Friday.
AP Singh, lawyer for convicts Vinay Sharma and Akshay Thakur, had invoked Gandhi when arguing in their defence earlier, saying: "God gives life and he alone can take it, not man-made courts."
