Dinesh Trivedi makes U-turn on mid-term poll remark-NewsX

TMC leader Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi has done a u-turn on his mid-term poll remark, saying his comments were blown out of context. This was after Trivedi indicated that after Congress' poor show in the Uttar Pradesh elections, the TMC had no hesitation in welcoming early general elections. Trivedi has turned around to say that his remark was simply a political analysis and did not reflect TMC's view. Trivedi's comments haven't gone down well with the Congress,. The party is clearly upset with the TMC for making the comment, just a day after their debacle in the Assembly elections.
