Petrol price hike: Allies unhappy with UPA

Even as the Prime Minister and his government hold firm on the petrol price hike issue worries grow within the Congress and other alliance partners besides the Trinamool. The chorus for easing the common man's burden either through a rollback or a cut in levies is the call from both within the Congress as well as allies like the NCP. Mamata Bannerjee seems to be waiting for clarification on the Prime Minister's next move on the matter.
