After Mamata snub, Bangladesh unhappy over Teesta treaty

Despite West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee tripping Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's deal to Bangladesh, his historic visit to Bangaladesh has commenced.He was received by his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina. This is the first visit by Indian premiere in 11 years.Dhaka has taken strong objection to the Prime Minister backing out at the last minute from signing the Teesta Treaty. In fact, Dhaka is now demanding guarantees from India that the treaty would be signed soon.
