Election Commission of India has said that it has the power to cancel the Lok Sabha polls in West Bengal if Mamata Banerjee refuses to comply with its order of transferring officials.

On Tuesday, EC had ordered West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee to transfer 3 district magistrates, 5 superintendents of police and additional district magistrate.

A defiant Mamata hit back at the EC and refused to transfer the officials.
