NCTC row: Mamata snubs Chidambaram, skips NSG hub inauguration-NewsX

In signs of escalating tensions between the government and the states, over the proposed National Counter Terrorism Centre, in an ostensible snub to the UPA again. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave the inauguration of a regional NSG hub by the Union Home Minister a skip. The latest, coming just a day after the CMs of at least 8 states joined ranks in opposing the NCTC, alleging it was an outright attack on the federal structure of the states.
