President Moon says smart cities will become platform for innovative growth in S. Korea

Continuing his tour of regional cities aimed at boosting the South Korean economy from the bottom up-- President Moon Jae-in is... on this Wednesday... in the southeastern port city of Busan.
Speaking at a ceremony,... President Moon expressed high hopes for smart cities and their future success,... saying the country will look to export two of its test-bed cities.
He said three-point-three billion U.S. dollars will be spent to build the country's first smart cities by 2021.
They will include the latest and most advanced technologies, like the Internet of Things.
Pressing the importance of smart cities-- President Moon said they will not only create safe and future-oriented living spaces for people in Korea, but also be a platform for innovative growth.
