South Korea and the U.S. have reaffirmed their determination to realize the final, full, and verified denuclearization of North Korea.
That's according to a statement released by the U.S. State Department on Monday after Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan's meeting with South Korean National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang in Washington.
The two reaffirmed their countries' ironclad alliance in achieving the goal.
They also agreed on their mutual commitment to strengthening trilateral cooperation with Japan, and achieving their shared vision of developing the Indo-Pacific region.
Speaker Moon and his delegates will be meeting with U.S. senators before leaving on Friday.
