South Korea and the U.S. have reaffirmed their determination to realize the final, full, and verified denuclearization of North Korea.
That's according to a statement released by the U.S. State Department on Monday, on Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan's meeting with South Korean National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang in Washington.
The two reaffirmed the ironclad alliance between Seoul and Washington in achieving the goal.
They also saw eye-to-eye on their mutual commitment to strengthening trilateral cooperation with Japan, and achieving their shared vision of developing the Indo-Pacific region.
Speaker Moon and his delegates will be meeting with U.S. senators before leaving on Friday.
