Watch this video to know, what does Sanjaya says to Dhritarashtra about Arjuna's condition

1 In the ninth stanza, Sanjaya addresses to Arjuna as ‘Gudakesha’ which means conqueror of sleep and ‘Parantapa’ which means one who destroys the enemy with his concentration.

2 By using these name, he hints Dhritarashtra, “The way this chastiser overthrew the sleep, so will he conquer his dejection.”

3 In the ninth stanza Sanjaya says;
|| Sanjaya Uvacha
Evm-uktva Hrishikesham Gudakeshah Parantapah
Na Yotsya Iti Govindam Uktva Tushnim Babhuva Ha ||

4 This verse can be roughly translated as;
Sanjaya said, “After addressing Lord Krishna thus, Arjuna states that he shall not engage in the battle and fell silent.”

5 The tenth stanza is as follows;
|| Tam Uvacha Hrishikeshah Prahasann Iva Bharata
Senayor Ubhayor Madhye Vishidantam Idam Vachah ||

6 The rough translation 0f this stanza is as follows;
O Bharata, thereafter standing between the armies, Lord Krishna as if smiled and spoke these words to the grieving Arjuna.

7 In sharp contrast to Arjuna’s dismay, Lord Krishna smiled, displaying that the situation was not worrying him; rather he was perfectly happy with it. Such unanimous attitude is exhibited by those have all the right answers.
