A group of North Korea's best musicians and dancers are putting on a series of shows in China... to celebrate 70 years of bilateral ties.
They include 2-hundred-and-80 members of North Korea's army choir and the Samjiyon Orchestra... in a delegation led by Ri Su-yong , vice chairman of the North Korea's ruling party central committee.
The performances started on Saturday and will run through Monday... at Beijing's National Centre for the Performing Arts.
According to South Korean news outlets, security there is tight.
Yonhap News says a pamphlet from the show indicates that it was about the close ties between the two countries... and did not reference North Korea's nuclear and missile programs.
Earlier this month, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un went to Beijing to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
