A 32-year-old man who stays at home to care for his son has been making unique musical instruments out of vegetables. Shi Qichao crafts a tiny edible orchestra from potatoes and carrots in his home in Dongying in China’s eastern province of Shandong. But since the food doesn’t last long before it starts to shrivel, he’s experimenting with more durable items including broom handles, bricks and bicycle parts.
