S. Korean gov't reviewing business people's request to visit factory park, check assets

South Koreans who ran businesses at the now-suspended inter-Korean Gaeseong Industrial Complex was looking forward to visiting the factory park to check on their assets.
But the unification ministry explained it needs further consultations with related ministries, North Korea, and the international community, especially regarding sanctions.
It is the seventh time the business owners applied for the visit since the complex was shut down three years ago.
Seoul agrees on the need to check the assets.

The final decision on the visit to the joint park is expected to be made later this month.
