Turning to a brief look at the weather on the first work day of 2019 in South Korea.
As you might expect in early January,... it's cold,... really cold for most of us.
The morning low in Seoul dipped to minus nine degrees Celsius.
Busan in the south saw the mercury drop to minus three degrees.
Both are colder temperatures than the seasonal averages.
The good news is that clear skies and good air quality are forecast for most of the country today.
Our weathercaster Lee Jee-hyun will have a more in-depth report toward at the tail end of this newscast
