ISRO Launches Military Communication Satellite GSAT-7A From Sriharikota | Oneindia Telugu

GSAT-7A, the 35th Indian communication satellite built by Isro, was launched into orbit this evening from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. The launch vehicle, GSLV-F11, took off at 4.10 pm.Weighing 2250 kg, GSAT-7A has a mission life of eight years. It has been built to provide communication capability to the Indian Air Force in the Ku-band, over the Indian region. Ku is a frequency band.

భారత అంతరిక్ష పరిశోదనా సంస్థ ఇస్రో వరుస ప్రయోగాలతో దూసుకెళుతోంది. నెల వ్యవధిలోనే మూడు ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ప్రయోగాలు విజయవంతంగా పూర్తి చేసింది. తాజాగా నెల్లూరు జిల్లా శ్రీహరికోటలోని ఇస్రో కేంద్రం నుంచి నింగిలోకి జీశాట్ 7ఏ ఉపగ్రహం దూసుకెళ్లింది. మిలటరీ అవసరాల కోసం ఈ ఉపగ్రహాన్ని రూపొందించారు. జీఎస్ఎల్వీ ఎఫ్ 11 రాకెట్ జీశాట్ -7ఏను నింగిలోకి మోసుకెళ్లింది. ఈ ఉపగ్రహంతో సమాచార వ్యవస్థ మరింత బలపడనుంది. జీఎస్ఎల్వీ ఎఫ్ 11 రాకెట్ ఇస్రో రూపొందించిన నాలుగో తరం రాకెట్. మూడు స్టేజెస్‌లో ఇది ఉపగ్రహాన్ని కక్ష్యలోకి ప్రవేశపెడుతుంది.
