First lady Melania Trump's favorable rating has made a significant decline. A new CNN poll, which was conducted from December 6-9, shows that only 43% of 1,015 people questioned gave positive responses. That's an 11-point drop from the 54% favorability she pulled in just two months ago. The deep dive follows some controversial comments the first lady made in mid-October during an interview with ABC News. Melania Trump told the news outlet in regards to the #MeToo movement: "You cannot just say to somebody … 'I was sexually assaulted' or 'You did that to me.' Because sometimes the media goes too far and the way they portray some stories, it's not correct. It's not right." She did note just prior that she supports women who come forward and believes they should be heard. During that interview, the first lady also said she is "the most bullied person [in] the world."
