Trump's actions have directly impacted his record low approval rating, which has gone down five percent in just under three weeks. Trump entered the White House with a 45 percent approval rating. It now stands at 40 percent. To put those numbers into perspective, Barack Obama and George W. Bush had a 64 and 57 percent approval ratings during the same period of time in their presidency, respectively.
