Dr Mahathir: No to local council elections which may cause racial strife

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that local council elections are not part of the Pakatan Harapan government's agenda as it may end up causing race-related conflicts in the country. The premiere said that after launching the Housing and Local Government Ministry's Local Council Convention on Monday.
