AgustaWestland Chopper Scam: BJP alleges that Congress is trying to defend Christian Michel

The BJP has mounted fresh offensive on Congress - it has charged 2 more lawyers, besides Aljo Joseph, from the Congress of defending Christian Michel in court. This comes in wake of Congress trying to save face by expelling Aljo from Youth Congress and other AICC organisations. The move is being seen as Cong's way of distancing itself from the case. Meanwhile, the British High Commission has asked Indian govt for consular access to alleged AgustaWestland middleman Christian Michel. CBI has questioned Michel on several aspects relating to the money trail. It has also confronted Michel with evidence to unearth the money trail in the scam. The CBI will confront Michel with his driver who took him to meet several people during his stay in India.
