Hot water pipes near Baekseok station to be restored by 9am

One person was killed and 20 injured on Tuesday night when a hot water pipe near Ilsan's Baekseok metro station exploded.
Around two-thousand-eight hundred households were also without hot water after the incident.
Korea District Heating Corporation has just revealed the pipes are now operational again and water for house heating systems will soon resume.
Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon called on the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy to identify the cause of the incident and check for problems in the management system of the hot water pipes.
He also asked the ministry to provide support for the family of the victim.
