The mission of Nissan's new energy focused program, "Nissan Energy" is to help people and communities switch to electric vehicles and smart power grids.
The car company announced the program at a media event, on the night of the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.
According to Digital Trends, their three part energy saving initiative includes reusing electric car batteries after cars no longer run.
Nissan will also promote the installation of home, business and public charging stations.
