President Moon Jae-in spoke on the phone this morning with the leader of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, about last weekend's drone attack on the Kingdom's oil facilities.
According to the Blue House, President Moon relayed words of comfort to the prince and to the Saudi people.
Moon also said that such an attack, threatening global energy security, must not be repeated and that South Korea fully supports the international efforts to eradicate terrorism.
He noted that 30 percent of South Korea's oil supply comes from Saudi Arabia... and said he hopes the facilities can be rebuilt quickly, offering South Korea's help if needed.
