Mattis Says U.S. & South Korea Will Reduce Scope Of Joint Military Exercise

According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, US Defense Secretary Jim Matti said that a joint military exercise with South Korea would be reduced in scope next year so it does not affect diplomatic efforts with North Korea. The exercise, referred to as "Foal Eagle," usually involves thousands of combined ground, air, naval, and special operations troops, and takes place every spring.
