The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also nose-dived by 2-and-3-quarters percent closing below 7-hundred points -- the lowest since last November.
Shares plunged in most sectors, including medicine and medical supplies, textiles and garments, and non-metallic minerals.
Investors pointed to an apparent correction in global stocks, the ongoing U.S.-China trade spat as well as Saudi tensions,... and said the sell-off will likely continue.
