KOSPI sets fresh record high rising above 2,700 mark

코스피 사상 첫 장중 2700선 돌파…최고치 또 경신
South Korea's main bourse has set a fresh record, rising above the 2,700 mark for the first time.
The benchmark KOSPI on Friday opened at 2,705…up more than nine points from the previous day to surpass Thursday's intra-day record of 2,696.
The KOSPI has been logging new highs since the start of December backed by strong foreign buying.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also started higher at almost 910, up almost two-and-a-half points from the previous session.
