Aram… what was discussed?

Well Mark… Pompeo had a short discussion with King Salman before a longer meeting with the King's son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday.
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Saudi Arabia has made a “serious commitment” to hold senior leaders and officials accountable in the case of Jamal Khashoggi.
Pompeo also said the king "strongly denied knowledge" of what happened.
The secretary added that he emphasized the importance of conducting a thorough, transparent, and timely investigation, and the Saudi leadership pledged to deliver precisely on that.
Khashoggi went missing earlier this month at the Saudi consulate in Turkey.
Istanbul believes he was murdered by Saudi agents as he entered the building, but Riyadh has denied this.
Pompeo will fly to Ankara on Wednesday for talks with Turkish officials about the case.
Meanwhile Turkish officials are widening their investigation after searching the consulate on Monday.
They were to search the Istanbul residence of the Saudi consul Mohammad al-Otaibi, who was reported to have left Turkey hours before the scheduled raid.
Pressure is growing on Saudi Arabia to give a full explanation of what happened to the Washington Post columnist.
Riyadh was reported to have been planning a statement suggesting Khashoggi was killed in a botched interrogation, but nothing has come out yet.
