President Trump says he has spoken with officials in Saudi Arabia regarding the disappearance of a prominent Saudi journalist.
Jamal Khashoggi has not been seen since entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul more than a week ago.
Turkish authorities say the Washington Post writer was killed - allegations Saudi Arabia denies.
Speaking at the White House, Trump vowed to get to the bottom of the case.

"We are certainly concerned and in fact we have a call to his wife. His wife wrote us a letter and addressed it to my wife and myself and we're in contact with her now and we want to bring her to the White House. It's a very sad situation. It's a very bad situation and we want to get to the bottom of it."

The White House also said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and senior officials had spoken with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman on Tuesday and asked for more details about the situation.
