Speaking about the development and infrastructure of Mumbai, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Friday that he did not want to turn Mumbai into Shanghai. He was speaking on the second day of the 16th Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi. “Why do you want to make Mumbai like Shanghai, let's keep Mumbai as Mumbai only. It’s better," he said. Fadnavis further added that Mumbai has 250 kilometers of metro network, coastal road, the Bandra-Versova sea link and trans-harbour link. Fadnavis was joined on the panel by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy.
