In an interview to Hindustan Times, sprint sensation Hima Das said that she is happy she is making her village proud. She was speaking at the 16th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. "People came to know about me winning gold very late. Only after the President and Prime Minister tweeted," she said. Earlier people in India supported only cricket, now they support all games, added Hima Das. Nicknamed the "Dhing Express", Hima became an overnight sensation after adding three medals – a gold and two silvers from the 18th Asian Games – to her World Championship gold.
