Arizona Sheriff's Volunteer Saves Dog Tied to Semi-Truck

The quick-thinking actions of a Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office volunteer saved the life of a dog that was tied to a semi-trailer truck in Ash Fork, Arizona, on September 8.According to officials, the volunteer was at a service station in Ash Fork when he saw the truck starting to move with a dog tied to its back bumper. The volunteer turned on his siren and managed to stop the truck as it pulled out of a gas station.Describing the incident in a Facebook post, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said the “grateful” driver said he was distracted and forgot to unleash his dog.
