Koreas agree to nuclear-free peninsula

South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un agreed to make the Korean peninsula “a region without nuclear weapons” on the second day of their landmark summit in Pyongyang. Kim promised to permanently close his missile facilities at the Sohae launching station in Tongchang-ri. He also promised to visit Seoul in the “near future”.
