The US Coast Guard on September 15 assessed the impact of flood damage caused by Storm Florence in the North Carolina City of New Bern.Storm Florence left hundreds stranded in the city early Friday morning, September 14, when it made landfall as a hurricane.Florence weakened as it moved across the Carolinas, and was downgraded to a Tropical Depression by the morning of September 16.
