The most powerful storm in nearly 30 years to hammer the Carolinas states on the U.S. East Coast has killed at least five people since making landfall on Friday, local time.
Two died after a tree fell on their home in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Officials say Hurricane Florence, since downgraded to a tropical storm,... has knocked out power to well over half-a-million homes.
Weather experts also say "catastrophic flooding" is likely to occur in parts of the Carolinas.
One-point-seven million people in the storm's path were strongly advised to evacuate, but it's not yet clear how many people heeded that warning.
The White House says President Trump is planning to visit the hardest-hit areas next week.
