The United Nations Command authorized South Korean vehicles and personnel to cross the Military Demarcation Line.
The UNC explains that the crossing aimed at supporting the construction and revamping of inter-Korean military communication infrastructure, which includes the reparation of military communication lines and the construction of a communication building,... on the eastern part of the peninsula.
The UNC added that it also allow Seoul's officials to cross the border as they are slated to be part of Friday's opening ceremony of the inter-Korean joint liaison office.
