Two hikers were rescued by a helicopter off the top of The Leap, a landmark outside Mackay, Queensland, on Sunday, September 2.The Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ) released footage that shows rescuers hoisting a woman and a man aboard the chopper, which was deployed considering the rocky and steep terrain and that nightfall was approaching.The woman, 55, broke her right ankle while hiking about 24 km northwest of Mackay.
