Presidential office holds NSC meeting to check up on N. Korea's denuclearization

South Korea's top office held a National Security Council meeting on Thursday on North Korea's denuclearization progress.
Chaired by the presidential security adviser Chung Eui-yong and attended by the defense and unification ministers, among others,... the officials checked on the regime's efforts to give up its nuclear program,... and agreed to tighten up communication channels with the U.S. for cooperation.
Standing members of the committee also discussed the next inter-Korean summit and touched on ways to carry out the Panmunjom Declaration signed by the two leaders.
