Presidential office holds NSC meeting to check up on N. Korea's denuclearization

South Korea's top office held a National Security Council meeting this afternoon.
Chaired by the presidential security adviser Chung Eui-yong, the session focused on Pyongyang's denuclearization progress.
Attendees including the defense, unification ministers,... checked up on the latest on the regime's efforts to give up its nuclear program,... and agreed on beefing up layers of communication channels with Washington for cooperation.
Standing members of the committee also discussed preparation for the next inter-Korean summit and touched on ways to carry out the Panmunjom Declaration signed by the two leaders.
